An osteopathy session at the practice costs €60 and lasts about 45 minutes, in Valencia (Eixample) and in Paterna (Valterna) alike. I see patients in French, Spanish and English. You can book online, with no referral needed.
Before a first session, people often ask the same questions: the price, how long it lasts, what will happen, what to bring. Here are my answers, so you can arrive with peace of mind.
How much does an osteopathy session cost in Valencia?
Prices vary from one practitioner to another. In October 2026, Valencia osteopaths listed on Doctoralia charge between €40 and €70 per session. In Spain, the average is around €60.
My fees are the same at both practices:
- Osteopathy session: €60, about 45 minutes
- Lymphatic drainage, Renata França method: €80, about an hour
- Pack of 5 drainage sessions: €350, i.e. €70 per session
The session time includes our initial chat, the assessment and the hands-on work. I'd rather not cut the listening short: it's what lets me adapt every movement to your situation and understand your habits and where your pain comes from.
Why prices vary from one osteopath to another
Three things mainly make the difference. First, the actual length of the session: 30 minutes or 45 minutes don't leave the same time to listen and then work. Next, training, which isn't the same everywhere in Spain. Finally, languages and specialities, such as babies or pregnancy.
For my part, I studied for five years at the Institut Supérieur d'Ostéopathie in Lyon (D.O. diploma in 2019), followed by further training on babies, pregnancy and the back. You'll find the details on the your osteopath page.
Will my insurance reimburse the session?
I give you an invoice after each session. If you have a French mutuelle, you can send it to them: many policies include an allowance for osteopathy, but the amount and number of sessions covered depend on yours.
The simplest thing is to ask your mutuelle before you come. The same goes for Spanish private insurance: check with them what your policy covers.
What happens in the first session?
The first session always follows the same thread, but its content changes with each person.
- We get to know each other. You tell me what brings you in, your daily life, your medical history and any recent tests you've had.
- I do an assessment. I look at your posture and mobility to understand where the tensions are.
- I work with gentle movements. I combine tissue and fascial, cranial, visceral and muscular techniques, chosen according to your age and how you feel that day.
- We take stock. At the end, I tell you whether it's worth coming back and when.
Throughout the session, I explain what I'm doing. Before any movement, I always ask for your consent.

Who I see
I see adults and older people, pregnant women, babies and children, as well as sportspeople. Each page explains how I work with each of them:
- adults and seniors: back and neck tension, screen work, stress;
- babies and children, always with a parent present;
- pregnancy and postpartum, alongside the care from your midwife;
- sportspeople, amateur and professional alike.
Osteopathy or drainage: which session should you choose?
The two sessions don't have the same aim. Osteopathy looks at the body as a whole, at your tensions and your mobility, in about 45 minutes. Lymphatic drainage is a rhythmic one-hour hands-on treatment, mostly sought for the feeling of lighter legs, easier digestion and a moment of relaxation.
If you're not sure, send me a few words on WhatsApp: I'll tell you which one suits you best.
What should you bring and what should you wear?
No referral needed: you book directly. Just remember:
- any recent tests, if you have them (X-ray, MRI, report);
- loose, comfortable clothing, or underwear you feel at ease in;
- for a baby, their health record book, a spare nappy and something to feed them.
Where are the practices?
I see patients at two practices:
- Valencia, in the Eixample: Carrer de Joaquín Costa 12, near Colón metro station and Russafa. The practice is not wheelchair accessible.
- Paterna, in Valterna: Calle Murta 19, on Tuesdays. This practice is wheelchair accessible and easy to reach by car, right opposite the French Lycée of Valencia.
Opening hours for each are on the my practices page.
How do I book or change an appointment?
